Logging In To The Moodle System
CPD College uses a learning management system called Moodle. This system is becoming widely used in education institutions all over the world.
To use the system, you first need a user account. As part of your registration to CPD College, you will have already created this account or it will have been created for you (see enrolment guide). To sign into the system, CPD College uses a standard username/password authentication system. You will have your username and password at this stage. If not you can retrieve it through the login box or just contact us at support@cpdcollege.com and we will reset it for you.
As you can see in the screenshot below, there is a block on the front page at the top right corner for signing into. You can also use the login link provided beside the course you have enrolled in.

Sometimes, you will also see the main login page appear. This usually occurs if you have been away from the computer for a while. One of Moodle’s security features is that an account is automatically logged out once it has been idle for a set period of time (usually 30 mins). Should this occur, you will see the login page similar to the screen shot below.
In this case, the username and password form is shown by the red ring.

To sign in to the Moodle system, please follow the following steps:
Step 1- Type your username and password into the form on the left hand side of the page as shown. A closeup of this is also provided:

Step 2 Click the Login button.
